Meet Liliana and Alain Meylan, the visionaries behind Domaines de Chabran.
At La Bergerie de Calabrun, they shape spaces that feel rooted in the land, where architecture becomes part of the landscape and every detail reflects a quiet respect for nature, history, and the present moment.
Their work is a dialogue between tradition and innovation — natural materials, soft textures, timeless craftsmanship, and modern comfort, all existing in perfect balance. Wood, stone, leather, and regional finishes come together to create spaces that feel warm, authentic, and enduring.
Inside, antique pieces, handcrafted objects, and carefully chosen materials give each house a sense of permanence, as if it had always belonged there. Through collaborations with skilled craftsmen and artists, each space becomes unique, thoughtful, and deeply connected to its surroundings.
From Switzerland to the heart of Provence, their vision has shaped remarkable contemporary architecture projects, always guided by nature and simplicity.
They do not simply build houses — they create places where life unfolds slowly, where families gather, and where every moment feels timeless.

Dust and stone, vine and sky. The terroir of Provence is a masterclass in patience. Between the rows of Grenache and the ancient olive groves, you feel the weight of history—a legacy of land tended with love for generations.
Returning to the Domaines de Chabran after a morning lost in the vines feels like a return to oneself. A glass of rouge, the shade of a plane tree, and the long, amber light of a Mediterranean evening. This is the art of living, distilled to its purest form.
